Each project evolves through layered experimentation across projection, generative systems, sound, spatial mapping, motion design, and responsive environmental processes to create immersive experiences that feel adaptive, cinematic, and deeply sensory.
What distinguishes 9th Sphere is its interdisciplinary foundation spanning design, technology, innovation research, academia, production design for film and television, technical product design, and contemporary jewellery fabrication.
Through the convergence of these creative disciplines, 9th Sphere bridges emerging media technologies and material practice with ecological thinking, emotional atmosphere, and embodied collective experience — creating immersive works that move beyond spectacle toward resonance, presence, and transformation.
Adaptive Light Ecologies
Developed through an ongoing design research practice, 9th spheres conceptual lighting practice explores the convergence of ecological intelligence, generative media, and embodied spatial experience. Through custom projection environments, responsive visual systems, and atmospheric audiovisual design, the projects examine how emerging technologies can amplify connection to more-than-human environments rather than distract from them.
Holographica aesthesthetic
9th Sphere’s signature holographic aesthetic blends luminous gradients, crystalline textures, reflective surfaces, and evolving generative motion into vibrant audiovisual environments that shimmer between the digital and the ethereal.
Through iridescence, layered transparency and spectral colour systems the aesthetic draws inspiration from holographic nature, marine bioluminescence, minerals and gemstones to creates sensory environments that feel simultaneously hyperreal, natural, and alive.
